MORE THAN A LOGO: A Mark of Family, Perseverance, and Excellence

Owner Antonio Cortes and founder Guillermo Cortes with family.

The Cortes logo was designed in 2006 by owner Antonio Cortes and Awilda Cortes a collaboration of ideas between husband and wife. Together, they created a design that would represent the family name, the jewelry created, and the pride behind CORTES.

Official LOGO

At the heart of the logo is the bold C, taken directly from the Cortes name. Over time, that letter has grown to represent more than the family name alone. It reflects the values that continue to guide Cortes Jewelry: craftsmanship, culture, creativity, courage, community, and connection.

Set within the logo is a diamond, chosen not only for its beauty and lasting value, but also for its personal connection to Antonio Cortes. Early in his career, Antonio began as a diamond setter, a highly skilled specialty within the jewelry industry that requires precision, patience, and an expert eye for detail. That foundation helped shape the craftsmanship and standards that Cortes Jewelry continues to uphold today.

The gold C paired with the diamond also reflects the materials that have long defined Cortes designs. From custom jewelry to meaningful heirlooms, Cortes has always valued high-quality materials, especially diamonds and gold. In the logo, the diamond stands for excellence, refinement, and lasting beauty.

For third-generation Ryan Cortes, the logo carries a meaning that goes beyond design-

“Growing up seeing the Cortes logo on our storefront here in Palm Beach always gave me a sense of pride and legacy. For me, our logo has always represented the work ethic instilled in me from my Grandpa and Dad from a young age. Work hard, take pride in everything you do, and never forget your roots.”

- Ryan Cortes

Today, the Cortes logo remains a reminder of where we come from and what we stand for. It represents a family business built on dedication, tradition, and pride in the craft of jewelry.

At Cortes Jewelry, our logo is more than a symbol. It is a mark of craftsmanship, and legacy. a reflection of the values that have shaped Cortes in Palm Beach for generations.
